Lundin Mining Corporation: Neves-Corvo Copper Mine Industrial Action Cancelled

TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwire - May 5, 2010) - Lundin Mining Corporation (“Lundin Mining” or the “Company”) (TSX:LUN)(OMX:LUMI) today reported that it has received notice from the union representing Neves-Corvo employees that the stoppage of work planned from May 5, 2010 to May 12, 2010 has been cancelled.

Recent revision to production guidance at Neves-Corvo will remain as a precautionary stance. Management continues to focus on ensuring the long-term competitiveness of the mine and its position as a major contributor to the regional and national economy.

The Company does not intend to report further on this issue unless there are any material developments.
